Album: The mixing of the album Åsa has now finally started. Hopefully the album will be out in December. Live: Voluspaa will play two more live shows this year. 18th and 19th december at Hellion pub Arendal and Hellion pub Koppervik. On both gig's we are playing support for Susperia Record deal: Voluspaa has now signed a deal with Aurora Australis Records We are proud to have them onboard our ship and AAR will release our new album Åsa. Then a new video from the upcoming album Åsa, is added the media section. Check out this medley but keep in mind that these songs are not yet mixed and some parts there are missing some instruments. As for the album progress, we are in the final part of the album. We need just a few instrument records and then the mixing will begin.

Hey all! The recording of the new album is going very slow but at the same time very good. We have recorded about 13 songs but not all will be added this release. Read my blog for up-dates from the studio. I'm working with a new studio report video for you. So keep checking in and see what's up. Soon I will add whole my MCD T.Å.E.M.E.N. here for you. This MCD got recorded in 1995, inside a church here in Hønefoss. This is some real shit old school black metal. Keep the flame alive!

But at the end you'll hear a small track of what the new album will bring. After the summer we will again play some more gig's for you out there. Hey! Voluspaa has now done 2 shows with the new live line-up. These show did go pretty good. We could ofcourse have played better as a band but we really won the crowed over and that's want's counts in the end. Voluspaa am now getting ready to go into the studio to record their new album, Åsa. This album will suprise you all, I promise ;) I have now added a new song from this album, on www.myspace.com/voluspaa This song is not recorded in the studio we are gonna use, so this is just a pre-recording I made for myself. Two new members is now added the ship of Voluspaa Sareeta, known from Ram-zet and ex-Åsmegin, will add her violin & voice to the sound of Voluspaa on stage and up-coming album. Anette Gulbrandsen will also add her beautiful voice on stage and up-coming album for Voluspaa. Go to the warrior section to read more... As for the new album, a studio is now finally desided. In may the recording of the album will be in Koia studios, were Lars Jensen, from Myrkgrav, will help us out. This album will suprise you all with it's massive expression and beautiful sounds of the cold north. And Halden Metal Festival will get a chance to check some of it out this weekend.

We are confirmed to play at Wacken Metal Battle, @ Glassheim, jevnaker, on saturday 4th of april.
We will play with 5 other bands and the winner will play at the final in Trondheim. Show up and support us!

Today I started to mix an old song together with Lars from Myrkgrav. I am trying to see how good I can get the old stuff. And if it turnes out as great as it seems, you will have something to look forward to!

(BTW the next Myrkgrav album is gonna kick x-ians ass all the way to Israel hehe)

So far 2009 has been pretty good and I'm still looking forward to the rest of it ;)

Voluspaa has now been confirmed to play at
Halden Metal festival on the 28th of mars. More info about this will be added soon.

31 Des 2008:
Voluspaa will do more in the year 2009. Will try to play more live, reach you guys and girls out there, and be more productive. I will try to get out a new cd, before easter, also before Inferno Festival get's started. I shall try to write more in my blog, so that you can read what's on my mind.
